Please choose one of the following book reports-you must complete 2 by the end of the trimester. Your goal is to show me your understanding of the book. Please be specific. Use examples and details from the book.
· Rewrite the climax how you think it should be.
· Choose 2 main characters and describe interests, personalities, differences.
· Alternate ending-Explain why you think it should be this way.
· Draw a map and show locations of events that take place in the book. Then write a summary paragraph)of each.
· Explain the problem/plot and how they got themselves there, and how they solved it.
· Write a summary of the plot, setting, main characters, and main events (at least 3 paragraphs).
· Draw and color a picture of each of the main characters and describe their personalities/characteristics.
· Draw a comic strip of the climax of the story, and explain the characters during this event.
· Body outline-On a large piece of butcher paper, have a parent or sibling trace your body. Then write a summary of different characteristics/qualities of that character (i.e. on the foot write a few sentences explaining how one of the characters used his speed to get away from another character).
· Read the same book as a friend, and reenact a main event. You may record your reenactment or perform it for Miss Smith.
· Write a letter from one character to the other. Explain how the character is feeling throughout the book.
· Write a letter to the author. Tell the author about some of your favorite parts, and also if there were any parts that you didn’t like. Do you have suggestions for another book for that particular author?
· Write 10 questions to a character and their responses.
